UtilitiesJED b0.91 on DarkJedi.ComThe best level editor out there along with JKEdit. JED has 3D Preview with DirectX or Open3D, as well as cleaving, plug-in support, and more. [THE best level editor for JK out there--and best of all, it's free! Ed.] Alexei Novikov/Code Alliance
JKEditJkEdit 2.10 is the latest tool for creation of Jedi Knight and Mysteries of the Sith custom levels. With JkEdit, you can create truly 3D worlds, levering from sophisticated tools for creation of sectors, surfaces, vertices, and objects. As a total integrated 3D application using DirectX 6.1 from Microsoft, you instantaneously sees the sectors you create. You can move around using either the arrow keys or the mouse and you can turn Collision Detection on or off. With five different rendering modes and five different view modes, JkEdit 6.1 enables you to fast creation of sectors, surfaces, vertices, and objects. It is shareware and must be registered to use it fully. Ole Thomasen/JkEdit's Homepage
TrajJediTrajJedi is a program that will let you create Jedi Knight / Mysteries of the Sith KEY files that involve an object moving along some sort of pre-programmed trajectory. Examples of this include "flying cameras" (such as in the in-game cutscenes just before you fight each Dark Jedi), and the obvious Crow / TIE Bomber / Shuttle / etc. flying sequences. As you can see, I haven't yet gotten around to making a proper help file, but a full help will hopefully be coming with the next release. What's new in version 1.1? ------------------------------------------- - With the Transform Object tool, you can now select which fields to affect (previously all 6 fields - X, Y, Z, Pitch, Yaw, Roll) were affected - Moving around in the 3D preview is now much simpler. It is very similar to moving around in JED - You can now specify an entry in the 3D preview, which will appear red and have a vector showing the heading of the object at that entry... AND MUCH MORE... [A good program for creating KEYs...as a matter of fact, the ONLY program to create KEYs... Ed.]
