Single player levels are the levels which must be well-made and thought out to receive attention. They are typically larger in map size and file size compared to a MP level. I've tried to rate these according to THE authority on level reviews, Hyperview. However, if another site has a rating that Hyperview doesn't, I'll post that.

Multiplayer levels typically specialize in one of four areas: Force guns, Force sabers, Force-less guns, Force-less sabers. They are small and don't involve a lot of COGs like SP levels do. Oh, and you can play with other people :-)

Modifications, or mods, are GOOed patches you can stick into your /Episode or /Resource folders. They involve new weapons, modified weapons, partial conversions, total conversions, and anything else that doesn't fit into the other categories. Most of the things people send in to File Database are mods.

Skins are the broad category under which new player skins and models fall under. Because most of the skins/PMs we receive are just new textures for an existing JK model, we categorize them as skins. You'll rarely find a player model under this heading - they are usually packaged with skins, sounds, and more on the Mods page.

Force powers are all of those COG hacks which give the player(s) things like Force Levitate, Force Confuse, and Force Repel to fight with and make new strategies for. We get less and less of these over the months. Is interest waning? We hope not...

Last but certainly not least, we have the essential files. They range from game patches (none are out for MotS...yet) to the hottest MP add-on packs out there. The files in the essentials section are mostly based on popular opinion and use. If you think something should be on there that isn't, let me know!
